Whether it's a slow leak that's been eating your subfloor for weeks or a flooded basement at 2am, our Mize crews are already moving. Our Mize-based teams arrive with truck-mount extractors, moisture meters, and drying gear staged and ready to go.
Too many Mize, MS families have called a big national number only to get bounced through hold music before a random subcontractor shows up hours later, so Hirex Water Damage built its Mize operation differently. Every technician on our Mize roster is a Hirex Water Damage employee, not a gig-app contractor pulled from a random directory.
Each lead tech holds an IICRC Water Restoration Technician certification and has personally handled clean-water, gray-water, and contaminated black-water losses, so Flood Damage Cleanup in Mize isn't a side service we tacked on — it's the reason the company exists. Full liability coverage and Mize, MS licensing back every job we take, so you're protected from the moment our truck pulls into the driveway.
Our Mize, MS-based equipment cache means drying gear is already close by, not stuck in a truck three states away.
Ask any Mize property manager who has dealt with a burst supply line at 3am — the difference between a crew that shows up ready and one still loading a truck at the shop is measured in gallons of water soaking into your subfloor. That's the gap Hirex Water Damage was built to close, one Mize call at a time.
The most expensive Mize restoration jobs we run almost never started as a dramatic flood; they started as something small that got put off. Here's what tells us a property needs professional attention rather than a mop and a fan:
If any of that sounds familiar, don't wait for it to get worse — call our Mize line and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a same-day emergency or something we can schedule.
Whether it's one bedroom carpet or an entire flooded commercial floor, our Mize crews scale the response to match the loss — nothing gets a cookie-cutter response.
We arrive with submersible pumps and truck-mount extractors that get standing water out of a Mize property before it soaks deeper into the subfloor. Every extraction job includes moisture mapping so we know exactly which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
We place industrial dehumidifiers and air movers based on actual psychrometric calculations, not a standard equipment count per room, with daily drying logs so you can see the numbers improving, not just take our word for it.
For families in Mize, this covers flood-cut drywall removal, subfloor evaluation, and packing out salvageable belongings for cleaning, with clear photo documentation at every stage for your insurance claim.
Multi-unit and commercial Mize properties get their own project manager plus enough drying equipment to cover the real square footage, not a token setup — we know a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants below has to move fast.
Category 3 blackwater calls for full PPE, antimicrobial treatment, and disposal of anything porous that touched the contamination — our Mize crews are trained for exactly that protocol.
We apply antimicrobial treatment during every Mize drying job specifically to head off mold before it starts, and we'll flag any area that needs deeper remediation.
You get a written estimate before any equipment runs, not a mystery total handed to you after the fact.
Our Mize, MS warehouse keeps drying equipment close, which typically puts a Mize tech at your door inside an hour.
We document everything with photos and moisture logs and work directly with your adjuster so you're not stuck translating restoration jargon.
Final moisture readings have to hit dry-standard before we consider a Mize job done, and getting there again is on us, not you.
A short call with our Mize dispatcher tells us whether this is a one-room job or a multi-crew response before anyone drives out.
Our nearest available Mize crew is dispatched immediately with truck-mount extraction gear on board.
Extraction happens immediately, followed by a moisture survey that tells us precisely where the drying equipment needs to go.
We don't close the file until the numbers confirm the structure is dry, and you leave with full photo and moisture documentation.
Every Mize job gets closed based on instrument readings, not a visual check, and we won't call it finished until the numbers say it's finished. If a callback shows lingering moisture within 30 days of a completed job, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
That's not a marketing line — it's written into every Mize work order we issue. If a second visit is ever needed, it comes from the same crew that handled the original job whenever scheduling allows, since they already know the property and the readings we started from.

Most Mize dispatches are on-site within 60-90 minutes since our crews and equipment are based in-state, not flown or trucked in from elsewhere.
Upfront, written pricing is standard on every Mize job, not an add-on option.
Our Mize on-call rotation covers water extraction, drying, and blackwater cleanup any hour of the day or night.
Direct adjuster communication is standard — we send photo and moisture documentation formatted for a Mize insurance claim.
We take moisture meter readings on affected materials and compare them against the dry standard for that material type — a visual check alone isn't enough.
We regularly handle sewage backups in Mize using full containment, PPE, and EPA-registered antimicrobial products.
If it's safe, shut off the water source, move electronics and valuables away from the affected area, and avoid the space if standing water is near outlets.
Commercial response is a regular part of our Mize work — restaurants, offices, and multi-unit buildings included.
Drying time varies with material and how quickly extraction started, but 3 to 5 days is typical for most Mize jobs.
Mold isn't inevitable, but the window to prevent it is narrow, which is why we treat speed as part of the Mize service, not an upsell.
We stand behind every Mize job with a documented dry-standard guarantee and a 30-day callback policy.
